in the smallest hour of the night

My mind is numbing slowly
Under artificial lights
Someone else can cradle
My consciousness tonight

Alone, but not in silence
A foreign voice is all I hear
Can this boundary be broken?
I'm paralyzed by fear

A blink of hope, a breath of truth,
Your voice: "Let there be light."  
Life is born inside the void
I've been made new tonight   

what bugs me about this poem is that I used the light/tonight rhyme TWICE! AIEEEEE jeez bad poetry. but i mean how else am i supposed to do that last stanza? AJHSHJAHSKJHSD i hate rhyming. AND APPARENTLY it hates me. >_<
